Lydia McCauley performs original and traditional music inspired by her travels around the globe. She is a passionate singer, composer and pianist whose music style ranges from Folk to New Age to Pop. Independent from the start, Lydia’s recordings have made their way onto some prestigious worldwide radio playlists that feature Norah Jones, Enya, Diana Krall, Loreena McKennitt, James Taylor, Paul McCartney, and Sting. Now that’s good company.

Lydia’s six albums are a mixture of original music, Traditional songs from the British Isles and the Appalachian Mountains of the U.S., and instrumental compositions. Her writing style is influenced by medieval music, hymnody, Classical and Folk music genres. Instruments include voice, piano, keyboard, Appalachian dulcimer and most recently the harmonium.
